Rhetts BORN 2 RIDE 2nd Birthday Party

Hard for me to even grasp the fact that my BABY is TWO! T.W.O you guys! Truth be told, two is one of my favorite ages, and I know this next year with our tiniest guy will not disappoint.

We had the greatest time celebrating with our favorites last weekend. It was a Motocross party that was all things Rhett. Its no surprise, that he has a love for motorcycles like his daddy. and this party was such a fun one for me to put together! The pure joy he had, was unmatched! We call him our "joy boy" because he's typically so happy. But party day, was next level.

As i mentioned, my hubby loves motorcycles, so THANKFULLY we had some great props around the house already... And it doesn't hurt to have a mini motocross track right in your own backyard. But adding my personalized touch to things, like goody bags, cupcakes, you name it, is SO much fun for me!

The goodie Bags were a hit with the kiddos! The brown bags were originally plain, and purchased from hobby lobby. I used my Silhouette to cut the vinyl stickers for the front of the bag. The font is called Rockin Pistons Slant Font. The small flag was also a hobby lobby purchases. But the rest of the bag contents is linked here:

Hobby Lobby was THE PLACE to get small decor items and Plates/cutlery/table clothes. If you can score them on a week that they're 50% off, even better! Keep an eye out if you're party planning. The dirtbike rider cupcake toppers were an amazon find!

Our Photo area was where the hubbys love of dirtbikes came in handy! We have a few bikes around the house, which worked beautifully. I ordered a balloon arch frame, and picked up balloons from hobbylobby. It worked well, but as anyone who has put balloons outside knows... we lost one after another to the summer sun! lol Worth it... but something to know! Some other details - the Star Racing Yamaha banner, a Lucas Oil banner, and a number 2 balloon. The Ken Roczen cutout is one of those right place at the right time items... Its been in our garage for 10 years, and came from a Safeway (grocery store) Redbull display. We decided to dust him off, and it looked so cool in the photo background.

I mentioned the small dirtbike track in our backyard... and I think that was one of the best parts! REALLL on theme. lol Most of our besties are in the dirtbike world too... If you are, you may have heard of a Stacyc. If youre not, there an electric motorcycle... and they're AMAZING. You can catch a glimpse of them above. Our gang of kiddos, and friends have them, so they were able to rip around the track for most of the party! We did Jazz things up a bit with the flags along the perimeter. But sometimes, a simple thing like some dirt is the life of the party! Im cool with that!
